So we can supposedly edit fake players that are on the roster before starting dynasty, but we cannot edit random recruits once dynasty starts. This makes no sense and you need to patch this and enable this option in the game.
Until you can edit player numbers and ratings in dynasty I’m done playing the game. Should be no reason I change a dude in 2030 to TE from Oline and he’s still wearing a number in the 70s.
with all dur respect, I logged in just to call you a fool. first of all, its my game i should be able to play however i please. i paid 100 dollars for this. people can also go the other way and make players bad to really rebuild a team if they want. its the freedom to do these things that make a great game. you can stay riding EAs meat tho its cause of people like you EA can keep feeding us subpar products and you can keep buying them. this is an absolutey horrendous take, respectfully

First post here, ever, on any board. so, what’s up. But, I say that to say it obviously led me to commenting on this thread. I think this is a serious matter in this game. The game was touted to be an immersive experience which we can tailor to the way we want to play. However, that isn’t the case.
I don’t know if anyone noticed this, but for each archetype, the mental and physicals never change. If you’re an elusive back, you’ll always have the same 6 physicals. no changing. So you can’t have a balanced back and change those if you want to add a slight bit of power to a faster tailback.
I’m going to quote comment another post because I think my next thoughts fit it more.
It happens in real life too. You might have recruited a running back who can't catch his freshman year but over his career, he works on his craft and gets better at catching the ball out of the backfield. Or freshman RBs often can't passblock very well but they work on it and get good at it by the time they are a junior or senior.
I haven't bought this game, and I wont buy it, EA has gone silent on this issue and they will NOT do anything about it! you guys have the power!!!!!!return the game ask for your money back! once enough of you do this? they will listen..........

Sorry guys, got side tracked yesterday. So, Brad is right. What could be a simple fix is being drawn out far longer than it ever should be. I also want to point out that @EA_Kent is mentioning editing ratings. While that would be great, it’s not the only thing. We cannot forget editing the faces and changing the numbers on our fake/auto-generated players in dynasty.
Second thing, there has already been an update rolled out for this game. Not a title update, but an update fixing bugs, many of which, such as the Week 5 visit option, are not fixed. They have done, what seems like at least one scheduled maintenance update per week since the games release. There are updates being made to this game. If this isn’t being added in updates, we would like to know why, especially given this seems to be the hottest topic on the entire board. We can’t do any more “passing along,” with all due respect. It’s been passed along, so now we would like to hear what’s next.
This is not a big ask. We all as fans of the game understand there must be give and take with this game, it’s how we lost it in the first place.
But, we aren’t asking to edit NIL athletes. We do not see a reason we should have #20 as a quarterback, and if we want our star wide receiver to wear #0 instead of a Kicker, which most of us sim kicking anyway, we want to make #0 our wide receiver. I don’t want every running back I have to wear 18 and 19. This goes back to what I said about tailoring the game how you want to play. This kills the immersion for so many, myself included.
