The coach prestige dealbreaker has questionable logic. If you don't meet your season goal it tanks to a D or C grade, even if you are one or two games off, which causes players to leave. starting QBs will leave to go be backups on better teams. Once your prestige tanks it's hard to bring it back up unless you exceed your goal, needs to be tuned significantly.
There is ann underlying flaw for coordinators at smaller schools in Dynasty. I had an OC at Kennesaw state(the worst team in the game) where I won 6 games my first years and 7 the next. I improved the teams overall 10 points and became the best rushing team in the nation. My contract goal was to only win 4 games per season. But my prestige decreased from a C to a D while the head coach went from a C- to an A and was hired by an another school while I’m on the hot seat heading into my 3rd season. Is dynasty truly only playable as a HC?
Anyone else have their coach prestige drop for no reason? I'm winning a lot of games and my rating in season 2 was an A but in season 3 it dropped to a B-. Not sure why it would go down?
In season 2, my prestige was an A score but dropped to a B- in season 3. I met my goals and won a lot of games.
And I got my prestige up during the season to remove dealbreakers then after the season it dropped back to a D- not leaving me time yo plan for recruiting. I hired new coordinators so we’re all over C now and it’s still listed as D-. Hope they patch or explain this soon
I have the same problem at UCLA. I met my goal, my prestige tanked, and many of my key players left.
As of right now , yes totally wacked. The prestige for the entire game is wacked. As an example as a HC I had a run of 4 years where 10+ players were drafted and my recruiting prestige for NFL draft was A+. Then the next year I only had 4 drafted, my recruiting prestige dropped from A+ to A- and even my team dropped a half star even though I had won the national title.
As an HC I have had to replace several assistant coaches who just vanished, most replacements were D or D- rated. After 1 year they were all rated A or A+
Ever looked close at the coach movement tab at the end of the season? The vast majority of coaches being fired or retired are D- or lower and that includes the coaches going to the NFL, like the NFL would only hire nothing but bad coaches.
Let's face it, this game is a D- at best, not only is it bug ridden with a patch they made it even worse but they couldn't even get the simple little things right.
Hopefully it gets fixed in the next patch along with the lack of job offers.
Same. OC at a 1* school (ODU) and took them to the CFB semis, won the Broyles award, coach prestige was still in the C range. Fine. After losing the CFB semi, coach prestige to a D- and all my decent players left. This is in addition to the issue with not being awarded coach coins about 1/2 the time (shows +10 then nothing in the bank. Tried all the fixes). EA, you've made an unplayable game. This should be an EASY patch and we're in DECEMBER. BTW my season goal was like 4 or 6 wins. We had 11. This game SUCKS.
Is dynasty (or this game in general) even playable at all? Had the exact same issue as an OC. We're all shills for EA since they have a monopoly on this game that a lot of us played growing up and shelled out $$$ for. They'll reskin it, still have utterly flawed logic next year too.
