The truly sad part about all of this is that you guys are in here taking the time to list and document all of these issues with Dynasty mode. Which, if corrected, would make Dynasty mode absolutely amazing. But EA DOESN'T CARE because it's not Ultimate Team. None of these changes you guys are posting here will be patched in to the game. What EA devs care about is making sure that they release constant content for Ultimate Team because that's where the $ is at. Dynasty Mode? the EA dev team couldn't care less about...
I'm going to push back on this a little bit. I think it's important in any community (especially in entertainment and gaming) to point out the correct culprit as to why we typically don't get the things we want in these mediums.
"The devs" have been called out in the gaming industry for a many years now as if they are the corporate overlords looking ro part us from our money. Now I'm sure in the hierarchy of dev teams there are some people who profit greatly from the commercial success of games but not everyone on the dev teams do probably. Most of them are everyday rank and file people like anyone else you see walking down the street.
The true culprits are the publishers and their shareholders. Taking that further are obviously deadlines/release windows. Now it's easy to look at this game and see that they didn't really run dynasty mode through the most exhaustive QC process. I agree that ultimately EA - the publisher wants you to be playing ultimate team and spending your money, remember this is the company that doesn't believe in single.plauer ges or experiences; but I just don't think that the devs of this game and any game for that matter actually want to make bad products. It's actually not inherently human for people to want to do things that will bring them negative attention. I know some internet personalities do but not the John's and Jane's that work on video games typically (of course you do get the arrogant ones from time to time who make idiotic public statements admonishing their customer base, but they are vastly in the minority).
All in all this game needs a ton of work I agree with that, but let's stick to pointing the finger at the right villian for why nasty monetization models/modes are put into games.
