About to finish year 3 of my Nebraska dynasty, some issues and improvements I’d recommend:
1) Please bring back the triangle/Y button to pull up player/team info when navigating stats, rankings, etc. When looking at the Heisman screen for example, I should be able to press one button on a player to see their stats and info. Same with teams. Should be able to press a button and see their last conference championship, total W/L, schedule this season, etc. This was in NCAA 14.
2) Actually mention when I break a record. You have more records and the actual names listed with it. Cool. So why not use that feature and let me know when a record is broken at my school, conference, etc? This again was in NCAA 14. I had to navigate the record page to see, “oh wow…I actually did break our season passing and receiving record!” A year later. Was also zero mention of it while playing my game.
3) Not getting Skill Points when leveling up coach. Have had multiple instances where I level up and not receiving 10 skill points. Has happened at least 3 times. Huge issue.
4) Coaching carousel needs work. Maybe an easier screen to see which coaches are on the hot seat instead of going all the way to the last tab and checking coach stats. Carousel just feels very lifeless.
5) Practice mode in dynasty. I have no option to practice with my team. That needs updated.
6) Wear & Tear/Injuries….I’m not seeing it. Maybe it’s working for others, but I am barely having any effect from wear & tear on my team and again I’m in year 3. Also have had ZERO injuries that have lasted more than 3 plays. Nothing to take my guys out for the next game. Yes I’ve adjusted the injury slider to go higher and still nothing.
7) FORMATION SUBS AND MASS SUBS!!! Why on earth would this not be in the game??? Especially when pushing wear & tear? Seems like a huge oversight.
8) Scheduling issues. I don’t know what Nebraska did to the Big 10 office in this game but my schedule in 2026 is a complete gauntlet facing USC & Oregon back to back, then Michigan & Ohio St back to back. I had to check the actual 2026 schedule to see if I had to prepare myself for an absolutely insane season, but fortunately not the actual conference schedule. Want to note I didn’t make any custom conference adjustments or scheduling changes.
Which I will have to focus on scheduling changes now because this is also the 2nd straight year I’ve had 8+ home games.
Those are the issues/improvements I can think of just at the top of my head. As has been noted in this thread already. Sim engine is a mess. The rushing stats from CPU teams is crazy low. Picture provided…I’m in week 10, and the top rusher for average rush yards a game is at 86. Teams in college are simply passing way too much and too many CPU QB’s with elite passer ratings. Absolutely needs fixed.
I’ve also had to go in and force win for teams because I couldn’t bare to see Georgia lose to Vanderbilt again.
I’m still enjoying the game a lot, but these dynasty issues I can see hurting the re-play value.
