How many seasons is dynasty mode?
So how many seasons is dynasty mode? It used to be almost any amount up to 100 seasons. Will this continue Or is it being chopped down too match NHL, etc?

In the last NCAA 14, the max was 60 seasons in a dynasty. Not sure where the 100 came from. But hopefully they keep the 60 years!
- @Bahamuta I am also very curious about it. I'm worried they'll cap it at 30-ish like Madden or keep it at 60 from NCAA 14... My hope is that they make it like MLB The Show with unlimited seasons. Even if they put a cap on how many seasons you can do with a single head coach (for age-out reasons) and then make a new coach to replace that one.
We know unlimited seasons can be done, because The Show does it. Hell, even Pro Evolution Soccer had unlimited length for years. It's just a question of EA caring enough to make it that way... - @SteelCityLJ They cap NHL @ 25 seasons it's ridiculous. Not enough time to go through ups and downs of a franchise.
They just reported this out in the news with people from the media playing dynasty mode. It only goes up to 30 seasons in the new game, which is way less than NCAA 14. I think that’s a huge bummer. I loved it being 60 seasons like before so you can play the small schools all the way up to the powerhouses.

The 30 seasons is kind of a bummer, however, you can still get plenty done in that time span. This just gives you more of an opportunity to start over with a new school with a completely new coach.
- @Braddmxn You’re right. 30 seasons is an upgrade unlike FIFA where they only limit you to 15 seasons. I just liked the 60 seasons in NCAA 14 where you could ideally go to dozens of schools and turn them into juggernauts. Either way, it’s been way long wait to have these conversations again 11 years later. All indications that this is going to be an amazing game
- @cfootball45 But why take steps backwards on a game that hasn't been out in so long. I'm losing hope that this isn't just a Madden copy / paste. Especially with including ultimate team.
Anything that comes from EA, I have the lowest expectation's. I completely agree, I think limiting this to only 30 seasons really sucks because if youre a die hard fan, that can be done in no time. But I think the nostalgic feeling of this game coming back and seeing it on a next gen system is all I need for the time being.
But I KNOW after they start recycling this game every year like Madden, it will fall in that cycle of garbage updates and minimum effort given to hear from the true fans of this series.
- @cfootball45 saw that 2k acquired the rights to FIFA and will be doing soccer. Here is hoping that happens with NHL. Maybe EA will change it up if they have competition again.
I think that would be the only way for EA to become more creative in the marketplace. It’s time for other companies to hold EA feet to the fire and give the fans an environment to be heard!
