I agree you should be able to.apply yo.the other coaching jobs that are open and then cpu gives u a chance based on coach archtype,record etc. Like If I get fired my 2nd year and try to apply for georgia cpu should be like nah but if I'm oc of a team that just won natty with a team I should have pick of the litter for open jobs as a hot coach.
Also if your a OC/DC and current school loses HC bc he retires or takes a better job why do they never offer u the job. They be like hey I know your a B+ coach but we are going to hire this f rated coach who just got fired from the worst school and not even consider u but please stay as our OC/DC
