A friend in one of my dynasties had this happen. He was editing his player when the dynasty advanced and that's what caused it. Like you, he couldn't do anything and ended up quitting the dynasty. Anyone that was to play his team that year also couldn't play the game because of the player and it had to be simmed. Luckily the player in question was a senior so he graduated and left after the one season.

@twuan_gotti I don't think there is one. The only thing you can do is wait for the corrupted player to graduate or force him to transfer in the offseason
Only solution we found is using the "encourage to transfer" feature to remove who we believe the corrupted players were. We were able to do this because all 12 users have identical rosters. What's weird is this user could play games against the CPU, but couldn't play against users. I see someone else posted they can't play at all, regardless of matchup. That's not the case with us. Not sure why there would be a difference.
Just had this occur in my online dynasty with a freshman recruit when I went in to edit the number during the preseason week. Is the only fix to wait until the end of the season and force them to transfer? League hasn’t advanced yet so unsure if I will be able to load up against cup and the lone user game on my schedule.
Nope. There is no solution to this, and there won't be a solution to this. This is actually a core game problem with the in-game roster editor. The player is corrupted, and unfortunately, the game save is now corrupt, until all of the corrupted players graduate. The Dynasty will have to be re-started, and the Commissioner of the league needs to lock players out of editing. EA Sports released a 40% completed game that had ZERO game play testing before release. This problem is compounded by the fact that EA Sports had an additional year to further develop this game, on top of the ten years in between CFB14 & CFB25, and still released a 40% complete game.
Sorry to say, but this will keep happening until fixed by EA (LOL, who am I joking? They will break it worse during the next title update), and the only thing that can be done is to restart the Dynasty without editing players ever again.
This sucks I have a online dynasty with 32 users & 3 of my players went poof & my 90 OVR quarterback is corrupted so I can’t even practice or play anyone this needs to be fixed asap.
Exact same thing. Do we just wait until Ea fixes it?
