Online Dynasty Custom Schedule Error

‪FIX/Work around for custom schedules in online dynasty

‪This video is the PERFECT example of why custom scheduling is NOT working for people. The issue is that the schedule does not take off the opposing user team’s game that is currently scheduled for that week. ‬

‪So in this example you can see I’m trying to match up Virginia tech vs Oklahoma state week 4. In VTs schedule they have Kentucky as the opponent for week 4. When i go to Oklahoma State’s schedule i put VT as their week 4 opponent. This puts Oklahoma state at 13 games and the schedule won’t work… so i go down and take away one of Oklahoma state’s opponents (Boise state). Now Oklahoma state has 12 games so the schedule should work right? But it doesn’t work. ‬
‪Now i go to VTs schedule and as you can see week 4 it still has VT as playing Kentucky which clearly should not be the case. I go to take away Kentucky by opening that week and boom Oklahoma state pops up. So the schedule is putting 2 games in the same week which creates the error. ‬

‪I have multiple video examples of this that i will post below. But this is why people keep getting errors when scheduling games. You HAVE to clear the opposing users schedule before you schedule the game or you have to go back and open the week because it doesn’t take the prior team off the schedule. I would also advise to only do ONE game at a time and then exit and save the schedule then go back in. If you do multiple at the same time you may get confused on what to take off and then you’ll have to discard and start over. ‬

Unfortunately this doesn't work with my "custom" team that I replaced Vanderbilt with.  The only team that I can access in that drop down "tickbox" menu is my custom team.  

I haven't seen this on a dynasty with only one user. So far my schedule changes all seem to work

Yeah it’s been a big issue for online dynasties that want to schedule user v user non conference games. I’m not sure why people doing 1 team dynasties are having issues. I only do online dynasties. 

Season 1 worked fine.  For some reason 2028 worked fine too.  But 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2029 get the error. I try every available game to change 1 team at a time trying to figure out if I can isolate the conflict.   To no avail.

I am an online dynasty.   I change my schedule because i want as many home games as possible from weeks 3 to 6 and want the best talent i can find to play. I try only go after ⭐⭐⭐⭐

 and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ recruits. this helps.

having this issue as well, brought it up to EA help[ and they said just to reply here.

Does this brick online dynasties or can you advance through it to the regular season ? Or do you get stuck ?

In an 8 person online dynasty.  There are two in each P4 conference and we rotate every season to playing a new conference. One opponent home and one on the road.  

Every time we try to do a custom schedule we get the same error and it resets the schedule. Also somehow as VaTech I have 3 home conference games and 5 road games, including at Miami for the second year straight.  I also have back to back byes and I play at Georgia.  I have one home game after week 6.  This will absolutely crush my recruiting.  

Where’s the patch?
