EA American Football TeamI'm having a similar issue. We've completed three seasons of online dynasty with 6 users. I edited an AI player jersey number in the offseason and it made him a 12 overall with no name or face. We advanced to scheduling and the game scheduled one User less conference games then required and it wouldn't allow us to make ANY changes to our AI generated schedules. When attempting to "auto fix" it would give me " Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience. You have been returned to main menu." We decided to just play out the schedule as given. We advanced to week one and it would NOT allow me to play games or practice. Everyone else was fine to play their games, but when I would attempt to play I would get the "Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience. You have been returned to main menu." We saw on forums that it's potentially the bugged player causing the issue as everyone else is playing with no issue and even when I switch to a different online dynasty immediately after it has no issues. It's just my Texas team in this online dynasty.
When we try to edit the faceless/nameless player (who is now a 21 overall after playing in sim game), it crashes the game completely (Will attached another video of this).I've cleared cache, uninstalled & reinstalled game, etc to try and see if it will auto patch itself. I got the xbox 8 weeks ago brand new, so it's not my console as all the other game modes work fine.
My friend had a similar issue in this dynasty around the "position changes" patch where he manually switched positions from player card (LT to LG) and his overall dropped to 31 overall. He said he checked the next season and he was back to normal in the mid 70s, which is why I decided to not encourage transfer before this season assuming the player would go back to his 80 overall.
As of now, other users are playing their games and I'm currently simulating mine with hopes that this will get fixed or the player will remove from the game as it won't allow us to make any edits to the player. We're continuing instead of restarting in new dynasty cause we're heavily invested in this online dynasty but running the risk of completing the season and not being able to remove the player at "encourage transfers." We've seen some say that the player just has to play out until he graduates (QB 21 overall is a RS-Soph), so we dont want to sacrifice 3 seasons of BS until he leaves if we cant cut him.

OK, I did my own research and for the people that’s having an issue where they cannot play their games and they cannot practice. I read another situation on here where there’s a nameless player with the overall 12 so I had that situation so basically what I did was I sim the season, did the off-season over again so now when it came to position change the quarterback with the overall 12 he was a running back when I first recruited him so I don’t know how he got to be in a quarterback. I switched his position back to running back and he jumped up to overall 55 but still nameless and faceless once I sim to training results now he was overall 65 but still nameless and faceless basically I encourage him to transfer hoping that will fix my issue when we got into the gameplay. It allowed me to play it allow me to practice so I’m saying anybody that has a nameless or faceless player. Sim the season encourage him to transfer and that should fix your issue but here’s my theory I think during the off-season I was changing players’s numbers and changing their equipment and I think during that period of time when I was doing that that might’ve glitched out and caused that to happen cause this is not my first time having that issue where I was not able to play or practice But during that time, me and my friends made a new league, but we was too invested to the point where was like no we’re not doing it again, so let’s just figure this one out and we did so Everybody that’s having an issue with not being to play or practice go to your roster and see if you have a player that’s nameless of faceless if you do and that’s your issue you have to encourage him.
also, I will say try to stay away from editing Players during the off-season then you probably won’t have that issue.
