Online Dynasty Schedule

When trying to make our online dynasty schedule in year 2, I could not make any changes. It kept saying there were user schedule errors. If I clicked auto fix, it kicked me to Home Screen. I tried many times to make sure us 3 had 12 games and 2 bye weeks in many different ways, it kept giving me the error. I even just simply tried to stick a game from home and away, and it still wouldn’t allow me to change anything.

The first year, the custom schedules worked just fine, but I’m reading through others peoples posts, once you get to year 2 and beyond, you can’t edit custom schedules?

Anybody else having this issue?

  • I have had the issue since year 1 in all and everyone I know is having the issue too. I can make some changes, but it gives me the error for a bunch of changes and I would have to make one change at a time, back out and save to see if it will allow it or not before moving to the next change. It's a huge problem and makes scheduling take hours and you still can't even get the schedules the way you want them.

And to add to this, this is where fans get frustrated with EA. Fans who love dynasty and franchise mode crave for it to get the proper attention it deserves. EA comes out claiming they really cared about it this time. Then you have stuff like the current issues where you can tell it wasn't properly tested at all before release because if it was, these things would have been spotted rather quickly since the whole world is experiencing them from day 1

  • I had this issue as well, it seems to happen because of conference games scheduling conflicts. the solution i have found to fix this is the following: When you get to custom conferences in the offseason go into each conferences rules and change the number of conference games from 8 to 6.; this cuts down on required conference games and makes more opponents available for each team. it may take some of the authenticity away from it but it works.

@EA_Illium I believe this is a problem in every dynasty that has more than a couple users. If you change CPU matchups to users, a lot of the time, it will tell you there's an issue with the schedule and give you the option to go back and fix it, auto-fix, or edit without saving. If you go back to fix it, you can't figure out the issue. If you auto-fix, it just reverts the schedule back to what it was before you changed anything. You literally have to make one change, exit and see if it'll let you save, then go in and make the next change. It's really not fun and takes a long time. Like I said, anyone with around 8+ users who tries to do custom schedules is running into this issue. Sometimes it results in a user having two games in one week. I had one where I knew a user was joining later as Maryland so I scheduled several users against Maryland when the game would allow me to. Once the person joined, it turned out that it gave him two user v user matchup in week 3. One was against Cal and one was against Louisville. When he tried to play Cal, Cal would show up on the field as Louisville for him, but the user who is Cal would see Cal. It was bizarre. Then I had another where I for sure removed all FCS teams from the schedules because it's the first thing I do. We advance to the season and one user had a user v user game and a game vs FCS East in the same week. So long story short, the custom schedules are really buggy and desperately need a patch. If you want to replicate, get 8-10 users in a dynasty and try to schedule three user v user games for each of them. I guarantee you will run into the issue.

  • It’s unreal they haven’t replied. We all spent a lot of money on this game.
