Any type of custom conferences will basically break scheduling. There’s no option to turn off protected rivalries and the game doesn’t count conference games properly if your rivalry is also a conference game.
On top of that, if you move Notre Dame into a conference, they still schedule ALL their rivals, which should be impossible.
@ EA the custom conference should be the #1 priority in the next update. Protected rivalries and scheduling are a mess.
