Performance means NOTHING when determining what players go pro, only OVR rating.

I'm tired of having Heisman-level players decide to simply graduate because by the game's logic if their overall rating wasn't 90 or above they have no interest in going pro. You don't throw 50 touchdowns as a senior or rush for 1,800 yards and then decide, "Well, that's enough of that. I was only here for the education, really. I'm gonna go bag groceries now instead of making millions in the NFL."

Also, how high they're selected in the draft also needs to be based much more on their final college performance, NOT just on OVR rating.

This failed AI logic crushes my soul at the end of every season. It is really immersion-breaking when this stuff happens.

  • 100% agree with you. Hopefully the next one is more performance based.

  • B.S. Even if you're rated like an 87, that means you're being drafted in the 6th or 7th rounds. The ratings don't adjust for consistent performance, and there are plenty of examples of players who weren't highly touted coming out of nowhere and then being drafted high. Their draft system leaves no room whatsoever for gems to improve their status or for high-rated players to fall in the draft. What you see is what you get. That's not a good thing.

  • @e01259baacaba4f5 Lol that's one of the things they actually got right.
Graham Harrell, Timmy Chang were breaking records and couldn't sniff the NFL in real life.
