Protected Rivalries/Custom Conferences

Question

This game has the potential to be so good if only it delivered on everything promised.

-PLEASE PUT PROTECTED RIVALRIES INTO THE GAME LIKE THE DIALOG SAYS WE CAN DO (but we can’t)

Custom conferences is broken. If you do anything to the B1G it breaks everything scheduling wise. First of all OSU and Michigan don’t play every year which is just awful as it’s the best rivalry in college football. There needs to be a way for us to manually protect rivalries. Also if you edit the big ten and sim several seasons I had a glitch where there were 9 BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES during conference championship week. Like that is so broken. You can’t even touch the conferences if you don’t want the game to have an aneurysm. Please allow us to make manual protected rivalries and fix it overall so that we can move all conferences around if we want and should be able to do. Another example is if you put FSU into the SEC UF and FSU don’t play every year even though they’re in the same conference, editing the conferences at all completely ruins protected rivalries, it’s honestly unplayable for me.

-Also fix the scoreboard in dynasty, it keeps disappearing!!

@Tsupe_4 Every time I add or remove teams from the B1G, Michigan and Ohio State go years without playing each other, it's like EA completely dumbed down Dynasty compared to NCAA 14, and as long as people like Bourdeaux and all these other youtubers and streamers keep saying "I'm just happy we have a college football game back" EA will never have the urgency to fix anything

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or if anyone from EA knew about it or if they are currently working on a patch/update to fix as the last update did not seem to fix it. I really hope they are.

In the last season of my dynasty, there were three extra SEC championship games on the Monday after conference championship week.

There was also a duplicate Big Ten championship with sub .500 Rutgers versus sub .500 Perdue.

Although Michigan was the actual Big Ten champion, #1 ranked team with 1 loss, they did not get the bye but instead Rutgers was given the BYE (reminder they were unranked and below .500)

I love Dynasty but damn does this glitch really mess up the CFP bracket.

What's most annoying is the duplicate conference championship games have more of an effect on the CPF bracket than the actual ones do.

In the season prior, I was an undefeated SEC champion, ranked #1, yet did not receive a first round BYE.

Pretty insane to me that such a GIANT bug was not caught before the game launched nor was fixed in the first patch.

Hope to see it resolved soon.
