Re: Dynasty Sim Engine is unplayable
@EA_Shepard Thank you for giving us the opportunity to provide some feedback, hopefully we can see some update soon. Here are some key areas I believe should be looked at for the game.
Consistent Upsets in Simulation Mode
One of the most frustrating aspects of the game is the frequency of upsets in simulation mode. While upsets are a part of the game and add to the excitement, the current simulation engine results in big schools being beaten by smaller, less competitive teams far too often. This undermines the realism and predictability of the game, making dynasty mode less enjoyable and believable.
Suggestions for Improvement:
1. Adjust Simulation Algorithms: Fine-tune the simulation algorithms to better reflect the strength and consistency of top-tier programs. Upsets should be rare and feel realistic, rather than a common occurrence.
2. Dynamic Performance Factors: Introduce more nuanced factors such as team morale, injuries, and player fatigue to affect game outcomes in a more realistic manner. This would add depth to the simulation without making it feel random.
Lack of Creative Freedom in Player Editing
Another major concern is the inability to edit non-NIL players within both offline and online dynasties. Player customization is crucial for many of us as it allows us to create a more immersive and personalized gaming experience. The lack of this feature significantly limits our creative freedom and the overall enjoyment of the game.
Requested Features:
1. Editing Player Ratings: Allow us to adjust player ratings to create custom scenarios and storylines for our players!
2. Customization Options: Bring back the ability to change player numbers, faces, skin color, and hairstyles. This level of customization was previously available and is sorely missed!
3. Seamless Integration: Ensure that these editing features are easy to access and use within the game interface, both for offline and online dynasties.
We hope you can relay these specific concerns and suggestions to the development team. Addressing these issues would greatly enhance the gameplay experience and align the game more closely with the community’s expectations. Thank you!
