Red Shirting

I would love for someone to test this as well. I would like to play all my talented freshman the last 4 games of a lost season in which wins don't matter as much, and then have the game redshirt them for only having played in 4 games.

Instead, do I need to then manually redshirt all those guys at the very end of the season?
