The custom conference messiness (poor scheduling algorithm, not properly respecting protected rivalries) has been a massive miss for me. Months before launch, I had a spreadsheet that consisted of how I wanted conferences to be realigned. Nothing crazy, every conference about the same number of teams, mostly just putting things back how they were 15 years ago or so. But the poor scheduling and dismissal of key rivalry games (i.e. Ohio State and Michigan no longer playing, even when kept in the same conference) has been crushing for me. This is the last big gripe I have with the game. Really hoping this can be fixed, but I'm pretty pessimistic because it seems like the whole scheduling algorithm just breaks with custom conferences.
I agree permanent rivals is my biggest miss for this game too. Crazy they haven’t updated that yet. Formation subs is a big want, but permanent rivals is a straight up miss.
