This is STILL an issue. I've tried to overcome this by setting up my schedule to include as many top 10 teams as possible and removed all teams not at least a 3.5-star. I am 6 weeks into the season, beat #5 Syracuse, #8 USC, and #12 Kansas State, and blew out TA&M who wasn't ranked when we played, but was pre-season #6. But as of now, only 2 are still ranked (8 and 14), yet I dropped in the top 25 to Penn State. They only beat one ranked team (#12), and their other wins are over a 1-star, 1.5-star, 2.5-star, and two 3.5-star teams. WTF?! As hawksnc10 said above, ea was aware of and working on this a year ago, but here we are. I guess ea just said f it and they'll fix it in cfb26 as a reason to make players buy the new version every year.
