I know the real CFB polls are biased heavily towards the bluebloods and anybody who follows the sport knows this. It just confirms for me how the dev's just don't care about or follow college football. Here is an example. One mid-season poll I was in looked like this:
#1 USC 9-0
#2 Clemson 9-0
#3 Texas 7-3
#4 Alabama 8-0
Michigan 8-1 is at #11 and Ohio St. 7-1 is at #20.
Can you EVER imagine an 8-0 Alabama team EVER being rated under ANY 7-3 team???? Let's face it, when it comes to real college football EA dev's are TOTALLY clueless.
Agreed! I have seen a lot of that too. Multiple loss teams being ranked ahead of undefeated and 1 loss teams. Also, there are nearly NO teams that run the table. Most teams jn the playoff has like 3 or sometimes 4 losses.
Again, too many good blueblood teams losing to unranked beaters.
Great point! With all of the conference realignment you can likely expect less teams to run the table but damn. There should be more 1 loss teams and a team that runs the table. Again, the simulation in this game does not take into account the team overall, blueblood, etc. Way too much parity. This is college football, not the NFL! They are probably using Madden sims, which likely produces more parity between teams regardless of overall team rankings.
