Offline Dynasty Teambuilder
Looking through the game I became extremely disappointed when I saw the developers made it that offline Dynasty doesn't allow Team Builder. Please I hope this isn't true....

I grew up rooting for an FBS school, went to a non-FBS school, grad school at an FCS, and live in a town with a school that dropped football 30-40 years ago.
They happen to be one East, Central, South and West.
These are the teams I want to lead from different G5 conferences to one in each P4, locking down the CFP semis every season.

Right, this is a major L for me. That’s basically the only reason I preordered the MVP bundle. I don’t do the online 💩
Yeah I'd like to user multiple created teams in offline dynasty. This is currently not possible. I'm thrilled team builder is back. But creating a custom conference and usering multiple teams is what I was excited for.
Which means, you can only control one team in a dynasty with the Team Builder team in it. (Online) or can control multiple teams but NO Team Builders offline? This makes no sense.
It also makes no sense to have the team builder team inherit the rivalries and prestige traits of the school you replace. You want to JOIN and play AGAINST the regional rivals and peers, not replace one. Conferences and scheduling are based on the concept of peers; Similar schools tend to play each other OOC (aka, ND vs Stanford, Navy, Ga Tech, BC, etc).
What you want to build, you'd prefer replacing the opposite. If I want to join the MWC, you're sacrificing a G5 from the southeast, because you won't notice they're gone as you fill your OOC with Pac-12 and Big 12 schools; but then your rivals will be Sun Belt teams instead of San Diego State or Boise St.
Just let us put in our Prestige Rankings and Rivals.
If you are like me, you have only ever played offline. But learned of a work around... Start your private Online Dynasty with only you as the only user! it is virtually the same as offline, and you will be able to use your Teambuilder team! I did it last night with one of the preloaded TB teams and it is literally not different. Just set your password and you will have the same experience
- @TRBoone Yeah if you go to start an offline dynasty the text is right there that says: "Play offline as a single user. You will not be able to use a Teambuilder team or play with friends online."
This is something I feel needs to be patched in the future. The first problem is EA servers are unreliable and it's nice to have a game to play when internet is out so online dynasty is undesirable for a lot of people including myself. Further I've been reading concerns on OS forums and a lot of guys on there like to control multiple teams in dynasty. The problem is that limiting Teambuilder to online only, a player can't control more than one Teambuilder team in any way in this game. I could have sworn that a note was added in the deep dive that said "Teambuilder is available in Offline Dynasty as well," or words to that effect. It's extremely disappointing to see that the process isn't available for the offline dynasty function!
Online private dynasty and play now only u fortunately. Makes no sense why it can't be offline as past ncaa games were like that just needed connection to download logos.hipefully it can be patched or future installments will allow it. I would like the option to trade out all teams with teambuilder teams at some point.
