Can we also verify if the following changes this at all?
- Make sure you have the latest software update.
- Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
- Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
- Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database
If this keeps up when starting a game let us know the following,
- EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag):
- Do you get an error codes or error messages?
- If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip of any errors...

Alright,
Checked all updates, everything was already up to date. I didn't have any issues with my connections either. All USB slots were cleared.
The issue of the PS5 getting too hot and shutting down still remains when trying to play a game.
I stopped trying to play and just continued to sim a dynasty which causes no issues, again its only when trying to actually play the game.
- Paxmallot7 months agoNew Scout@shyguy-carl Same, I've done all of the steps recommended multiple times, can sometimes get through a game (rare) but during the game crazy graphic glitches appear throughout.
The only thing I can think of is completely getting rid of the game from the system, not just deleting it but deleting it and having it removed from the game library on the system essentially wiping any memory from our profiles from the game, then somehow buying the game again from scratch (which we should get for free)- 7 months ago@Paxmallot shyguy-carl
I haven't had any graphic issues, it will play for a minute or two before the temperature warning pops up. If I continue to play through it, the PS5 will shut itself off.- Paxmallot7 months agoNew Scout@shyguy-carl debating buying an entirely new ps5 but that seems a little extreme. Maybe our best option is to buy the actual disc if you have the option tomorrow, or download standard edition tomorrow. We need to get game codes sent to us
