College Football 25 controler freezing
Hi team, my controller keeps freezing. The same thing is happening to my opponents. I have a ps5 and I gave the early release version.

Also when you have a moment, can we try the following?
- Make sure you have the latest software update.
- Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
- Perform a power cycle.
- Touch the power button on the front of the console for at least seven seconds until the system beeps twice.
- Turn it back on after one minute.
- Launch your game.
- Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
- Reinstall your game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.
- Restore the license for the game.
- Go to Settings on your PlayStation.
- Click Account Management then Restore Licenses.
- Enter Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database
Hi there, It happens both for wired and wireless and I have done all that you suggested except #6 and #7 which I will not do. However I played today and had no issues at all. Am going to play 3 games again tonite and report back but somehow the issue did not happen today. I have reset the controller, updated the controller, changed the cables, reinstalled the game, etc.
I will report back in 48 hours with an update but aoo far it seems to have solved itself not because of anything I did.
- @EA_Illium So I just played online at 8:30 pm EST and it just froze on me again so ignore the good news from earlier. This issue is still existing. This problem used to happen in madden 24 but it didn’t cause the timeout because it only would happen once per game and cleared up after the first try.
Please can you fix this? I only play online and do t care about dynasty or ultimate team and all that, I play to play humans online.@EA_Illium Hello, update alert. The game is broken. Someone just lost to me because of this issue. I think it may be because of substitutions pr maybe losing connection to the servers due to too many users perhaps. I played 3 games in the afternoon and they were flawless but I didn’t make any subs and the servers were not loaded.

please help, it’s becoming unbearable. I paid for both this amd madden and this is what I get? Getting annoyed slowly. 😔😅🙂
