I've been trying for over a week to play online and it asks me to change my EA password to do so. I do it and it doesn't work. I've changed my password and tried to login at least 20 times. This is egregious for a new game in 2024. I'm on an Xbox S.

Please make contact with an EA Game Advisor and use the phrase "I want to reset my login credentials please".

Thanks. I've done that so many times I lost count. Still doesn't work.
Every time I load up CFB25 I am met with the same prompt to reset my EA password to log in and play online, after doing so I am then met with a message saying that the EA servers are down/unavailable. After resetting my password 9-10 times I still get the same prompt and error message every time I load up the game. This is incredibly frustrating and shouldn't be happening after I payed $80 for this game. Any answers or fixes EA???
Same with me...it's so frustrating and I've heard nothing back from EA
Also I think it's an issue with my Xbox account originally having some sort of EA account linked to it that no longer exist anymore. But I haven't found anyone willing to help so.
On this particular issue (PlayStation linked to another non-functioning EA account), the EA help and chat are only useful to a point. I was unable to connect to EA servers and kept getting a change my password screen. Once I figured out I had an extra issue beyond the many having difficulty with servers at launch I went to EA help.
I did change my password but then when I tried to link to my PlayStation, I was told my PlayStation was already linked to a disabled EA account. If you cannot access that disabled account (because you don't know the email attached or in my case, it was my account on an old deactivated email account), then EA help and chat becomes an unhelpful loop. You never get to creating a case to get help because the last link you click sends you back to the beginning.
If anyone is in a similar position, go to https://www.ea.com/legal/privacy-portal
and the last link on that page is "Regulators, Courts, Police, and Public Authorities". Click on that link to access a form to complete.
Fill out that form and you will receive help by email in a few days. My problem was fixed yesterday. But I did have to answer a series of questions to prove the old account was me.
I've done the same and got the 99 dollar bundle and still can't play with friends plus my friend is playing it with the free trial with no issues
I posted a link above. The link is the EA privacy and protection arm. They can help you if you are on this neverending loop of not being able to access your ea account (because EA has not realized that you may not be able to retrieve an account they disabled).
Use the link and follow the directions on my previous post.
I filled out that form. I received an auto email that day. Four days later I received an email from an actual person. He asked me my usernames and then followed up with questions to verify my account like date of birth and billing address. We emailed back and forth as he changed the email on my account (it was on a deactivated Yahoo email) only for me to discover that I could not access the account still. He then deleted my old account. I create a new EA account, linked it, and everything is good now.
I believe this might be the only route if your ea account is disabled. I know it is weird to click on a link from some random guy. But I promise I was near a breaking point before I discovered that link.
Best of luck. If you do this, have patience. It should take a few days for that real person email. I waited four business days.
