Extreme lag in online multiplayer

The problem is prevalent. The lag is either you or the opponent. One team is super fast while the opponent is running super slow. 
EA has been aware of this for a while now and they either deny it and blame user internet. Or blatantly lie and claim no such issue has been reported. Meanwhile the cheese play running people exploit the broken mechanics of the game. 
Im still waiting for a full refund EA.
