There's no part of road to the CFP that's not online. It's the online head to head game mode. It's not a thing where you can make your own 12 team playoff then play through it or anything like that.

I appreciate the response but is gamepass required for me to be able to play road to cfp even if i didn't plan on playing online? I am on a shared gamepass with my girlfriend

EA Staff (Retired)I wanted to confirm as @TheRevengeance mentioned College Football does have online components, which will require your account to access your platform's multiplayer services.
To clarify, it's not specifically Game Pass you need to subscribe to as it is what Microsoft refers to has "Multiplayer Access".
Previously this was known as Xbox Gold, but was moved into their GamePass subscription. Xbox recently made additional changes, so I believe you get MP access via their Game Pass Standard and Ultimate tiers. (They may change this in the future)
If you are Game sharing the game pass title with your girlfriend, you may need to confirm with Xbox support but I don't believe that the MP access (and the other benefits) is shared with other accounts on the console so you may have access to the Gamepass games, but won't have the ability to use online components, if the sub is on her account.
However, I would recommend confirming with Xbox support, as this is a service they offer and support.
