RTG save files loading an older state. Lost a day of progress.

I lost a whole day of Progress in RTG. Is it normal? My whole progress that I made yesterday is missing. There are 3 save files I can load, but all of them is at least a day old. I was on the middle of my last year but the save files I can load is from last year's first playoff game. Not only the autosaves but the manually created savepoint is from this older date as well. And it was not from only one gaming binge. I booted up the PS5 and played 3 or 4 separate times yesterday, and these save files worked, they loaded a later date, but now they only load an old one. Is it something that I can expect in the future? How should I know when I'm wasting a whole day?
