Unable to login on PS5

Hello, I have been trying to login and play CFB 25 on my PS5, however, the PS account is linked, to some different email. Not my playstation email, or my main account email. I have read, that this is easy to resolve over chat. I have attempted for three days, to get through to chat. With ranges between 2 minutes to fifteen for waiting. I make it through the options, and nothing ever loads. It just takes me back to the main ea support page, with all the various games, and my account listed.

I have tried multiple browsers, I have tried selecting different games, clearing cache, clearing browsing data, installing a fresh download of Edge, and Firefox, and replicating the same issue. Please assist. I need to unlink my PS5 account from whatever email. (when trying to link to this account, its showing up as a suspended@ea, not my Playstation account email). Then link it to the same email I have on my Playstation and PC.

    Try clearing your browser's cookies/cache, and if this continues try using it's incognito mode to see if you can create a case.

  • On this particular issue (PlayStation linked to another non-functioning EA account), the EA help and chat are only useful to a point. I was unable to connect to EA servers and kept getting a change my password screen. Once I figured out I had an extra issue beyond the many having difficulty with servers at launch I went to EA help. 

    I did change my password but then when I tried to link to my PlayStation, I was told my PlayStation was already linked to a disabled EA account. If you cannot access that disabled account (because you don't know the email attached or in my case, it was my account on an old deactivated email account), then EA help and chat becomes an unhelpful loop. You never get to creating a case to get help because the last link you click sends you back to the beginning.

    If anyone is in a similar position, go to https://www.ea.com/legal/privacy-portal

    and the last link on that page is "Regulators, Courts, Police, and Public Authorities". Click on that link to access a form to complete.

    Fill out that form and you will receive help by email in a few days. My problem was fixed yesterday. But I did have to answer a series of questions to prove the old account was me.

    There is no screenshot to take. When I try to launch a chat I make it through all the menus and then go to launch it, and it takes me back to the main EA Help page.

    I have replicated this exact issue on Chrome, Safari, Edge, and OperaGX, both on PC and mobile, (android and iPhone) All of them have been new fresh downloads. All gone with both normal, and their incognito, all of them have popups disabled, and I am not running any ad-blockers, or anti-virus. Nothing seems to be working.

    I was able to finally get an email sent in, but every time I check my cases, its showing up saying that I need to "resume my case" 

    Any further help or assistance you could offer? 

    I understand how crazy this sounds, I have never had an issue like this with any support chat ever. Even tried it on mobile. 

    Its like everything is going through as if it wants to launch a chat window, but where it would usually show up (bottom right) is that stupid chat AI bot thing.

    Is there anyway to have someone from EA Support email me to get this sorted?

    Hi @X3NO89, Would it be possible to get a screenshot of how it looks once you time out?

    Also to check do you have any pop-up blockers or antivirus software running on your device?

    Have tried incognito as well. All three. Its really strange, its almost as if its wanting to generate a pop up of some kind but nothing ever appears. I have checked to make sure, not only is ea support's site allowed, but they are in general. Not seeing anything.

    Tried the above steps. Chat still not working. Did find the email link, but no matter how fast I go through the process it always times out. I have the text copied and pasted (will put it below) only showing up as 595/5000 on the page, and the size of the file is 48.6kb.

    I had just made a post on the forums about this.

    I am unable to login to CFB 25 due to my Playstation account being linked to the wrong email. I have tried chatting and it does not load.

    From reading online, it appears that my Playstation account somehow got linked to some other kind of email. Not the email that is associated to my Playstation account, or the PC account. I have attached a screenshot of the error I get.

    Your assistance would be appreciated.
