I created a playbook and rated the plays in gameplan for every situation. Coach suggestions are the same 6 plays over and over, regardless of down/distance/situation. Also it defaults to suggesting Onside Kick every time. Makes the game unplayable until this is patched.

One the community managers reached out on one of the threads I made. I put together some clips and screenshots for them, so hopefully that gets some awareness for this!
I know they mentioned in the patch notes something with custom playbooks but it didn't seem like it was related to what we were talking about here. Thank you greenfcr for sending those hopefully that does the trick

Post title update and they still didn’t address it. It makes the game way less enjoyable when you want a challenge/want to mix plays up. Like why am I getting my empty set plays on 1st and 10 when I don’t even have them in my gameplan for that down?
I agree that I think there’s SOME kind of formula to this, albeit wrong. I just can’t tell if it’s too many plays, too few plays, not enough plays starred highly, too many plays starred highly, etc. etc. lol

I created a custom playbook before I played a down in the game as well, and boy was I disappointed when the same 15 plays were suggested the whole game no matter the situation. Custom playbooks makes the game feel personal and allows you to quickly find the exact plays you like/want to run in every situation. How they destroyed not only coaches suggestions, but the actual ability to create a custom playbook without formations and plays disappearing when in 25 it worked perfectly is beyond me. What is even worse is that they haven't addressed the issue in 2 months, not even mentioned it. For those wondering if coaches suggestions work for team playbooks the answer is sometimes. The first 3 plays are the same in some games but they next 12 cycle through based on situation. I found tis happening in all modes. I just want to use my custom playbook, it would make the game so much better again.
Bump, please address this EA. Rated hundreds of plays in my custom playbook to find out this was broken in 26.
If EA can't fix this quickly, a good stop gap would be to allow the play clock freeze setting during playcalling in single player dynasty, like they have for exhibition games on the main menu. At least then I could scroll thru and find the plays I need for the different situations.
