Broken Mechanics Ruined This Game For Me
I had thoroughly enjoyed the game and could ignore the broken mechanics. But after completing my first dynasty year I’m out.
- Wear and tear completely broken. Lost multiple top players to season ending injuries. There is an injury every play. The AI doesn’t intuitively sub out guys who need a break. During the natty I was driving to run out the clock. The computer had about 8 injury timeouts causing me to have to choose between a 51 yard field goal or going for it on first down when the game should have been long over if the Defense didn’t get 8 free timeouts the last 4 minutes.
- Computer has no ideas how to handle clock management. Many close games the computer just let the clock run out or don’t use timeouts intelligently
- Lastly and the final straw. I won the Natty going 15-0. Suddenly after the season 3 of my best players want to transfer because of playing style and pro potential. First of all it’s Notre Dame. If you have pro talent you’re gonna be drafted. I don’t care the position. That is stupid. Second I lost my second best corner because of playing style. Well I play 8:00 minute clocks and load the schedule with all the best teams. We’re going to give up a lot of passing yards. Notre Dame would not be losing a starting corner due to playing style style. Lastly I lose my record breaking starting QB after his freshman season because of Pro Potential? That’s so dumb. And all I can do is just push X and a window pops up and says my persuasion failed. Terrible mechanic. Lastly my backup QB wants to transfer because playing time. Hey that one actually makes sense. But since my starter left.. guess who is the new starter? His playing time is going to be great. Click to persuade and that fails too. At that point I turned it off and not playing again. Completely ruined my Dynasty experience
