EA Sports College Football 27 Features Feedback
Good afternoon, hope everybody is doing well! I want to start off by saying that EA College Football 26 is AMAZING and is my favorite College Football game and NCAA Football 14 is a close 2nd! The Features I feel should be added to EA College Football 27 are: FCS Schools(Division 2 schools), The Spring Game, and Player Discipline Issues to effect Academic Prestige in Dynasty Mode. These 3 features would make this game PERFECT!!! I feel that EA is going to run into the same problem 2k ran into with the NBA 2K franchise, which is it’s such a great product that it now just feels like your purchasing a yearly NBA Roster Update. Which is a sign of a Good Game/Product! Feel free to chime in with your thoughts??? 🙏🏿👍🏿✌🏿🤓😉 (cm edit updated title for vis)Solved11KViews7likes155CommentsHelp a College football out
I've played 2014 for over a decade. Bought 25 and 26 and put in more hours into both those games than any other game. Where is my 2027 beta code for Xbox??? I'm annoyed because I'm focused on online dynasty that I play with my best friend and now he is getting a jump on me. I'm not spending $120 to get access when I don't play madden and absolutely despise Ultimate team. Help a College football fan from Orlando out EA! We share the same county, we're practically family. That is all. LolCollege Football 27 Wishlist/Must Happen!
Now that the 2025 season is over and EA is likely to start working on College Football 27 in the next few months, here are the things I feel '26 dropped the ball on that need to be fixed to make the game actually fun and user-friendly again, because too many things frustrated me with this version. Team Builder teams should continue to be allowed in exhibition games, and we need more custom stadium options for crowd sizes in the 50-100k range. Plus, custom stadium entrances for the Team Builder team so they feel authentic. Honestly would be cool if you could do stadium builder. Create your own conference feature. I would love to be able to create a conference for my Team Builder teams. Like taking FCS teams/conferences and putting them in FBS. Allow Team Builder teams to be used in offline Dynasty mode and Road to Glory. This is a must, I can't tell you how annoying it was to make several online dynasties to play every team builder team I made in a college season. You should also be able to add Team Builder teams to dynasty mode without taking away other teams. Just allow us to add them to conferences. Bring back the old format for dynasty mode from NCAA football 09-14 for online and offline play. Allow users to control up to 5-10 teams in a dynasty mode as different coaches and be able to leave a team every offseason or when your contract expires for a new team. Also, add real-life coaches to the game on the sideline, coaching the teams. Have real career milestones and achievements in player profiles. Similar to NBA 2k, where they show if the player led the conference in something, the awards they've won (Heisman, bowl game MVPs, etc.), or if they won a championship (conference, national, or bowl game). Remove NIL in exhibition play so we can edit the players on our favorite teams. If I want to edit my roster, it shouldn't matter that the player has an NIL deal; the fans don't care about that. Just give them their money, but leave us out of it! Add historical championship teams or all-time great teams as options to play like this year's Indiana team or the all-time great USC teams. How cool would it be to play with Reggie Bush, Matt Ingram, Joe Burrow, or Vince Young in their college uniforms?! All in all, just make the game user-friendly again! Thus far, that's all I think, but please add on!College Football 27: Suggestions For Improved Gameplay
1. Dynamic Crowd Logic & Attendance In older titles, the stadium was a living entity. We need to see Contextual Attendance return. If a team is being blown out at home, the stands should visibly thin out by the fourth quarter. It adds a layer of realism and a "sting" to losing that static crowds simply can't replicate. 2. The Return of the "Momentum Meter" & Decibel (dB) Readings The NCAA 07-style Momentum Meter provided a visual representation of the game's "swing." Pairing this with a live dB reading for crowd noise creates a tangible home-field advantage. It forces the away team to feel the pressure and gives the home team a reason to keep the fans screaming. 3. Studio-Driven Presentation (Pre-Game & Picks) The broadcast needs to feel like a Saturday morning kickoff. The Desk: A pre-game show featuring a broadcast crew (similar to the old ESPN segments) to break down the matchup. The Picks: Bring back the "More Info" screen where analysts give their predictions. Seeing an analyst's icon next to their chosen winner—reminiscent of the Kirk Herbstreit picks in NCAA 14—adds weight to every game on the schedule. 4. Immersive "Media" in Dynasty Mode Dynasty mode feels most alive when the world reacts to your success. Moving away from sterile menus in favor of Magazine-style articles and digital headlines would go a long way. Reading a "Sporting News" style cover story about your star QB’s Heisman race makes the season feel like a journey, not just a list of games. Final Thoughts: These features aren't just nostalgia; they are the building blocks of immersion. Bringing back the "little things" like dynamic crowds and studio picks would bridge the gap between a "football sim" and a "College Football experience." Please let us change uniforms on Road to CFP. Colleges have all of these cool uniform combos that we can’t even use. I play with GT mostly and the only uniform I have to play with whether it’s home or away is their all white uniforms. Gets boring after a few days. Only time I see their gold uniforms is when I play LSU. PLEASE LET US CHANGE UNIFORMS Thank you. LolDynasty Custom Playbooks + Under Center Offenses Need Attention
Reposting this here (my original post got flagged). I play Offline Dynasty while controlling multiple teams and switching between them depending on the matchup. This playstyle exposes a couple of connected issues that really impact immersion and team identity. The biggest issue: when two of my user-controlled teams play each other, I pick one to control and the other becomes CPU-controlled. The problem is the CPU team cannot use a Custom Playbook. It defaults to a stock playbook, which completely changes how that team plays. It feels like I’m no longer playing against the system I built. From what I can tell, this happens because there is no way to assign a Custom Playbook to a team or coach in Dynasty ahead of time. You can only select custom playbooks at the pre-game screen, and only for the team you are actively controlling. The CPU has nothing to reference, so it falls back to a default. This creates a bigger issue: - Team identity doesn’t persist - You have to manually set playbooks every game - Multi-team dynasty becomes inconsistent - The CPU version of your team is not “your team” A fix for this would go a long way: Allow Custom Playbooks to be assigned to teams or coaches in Dynasty, and have CPU-controlled teams actually use them. That would solve both problems at once. The other major area is under-center offensive systems. I prefer running traditional football (I-Form, Power I, Split Backs, Wishbone), and while these formations exist, they are not complete systems. Examples: - Wishbone only has a Tight set. There are no 1 WR or 2 WR variations, which makes running a true Wishbone offense impossible. - I-Form 22 personnel sets (Tight, Wing, Wing Over) have zero option plays. That’s a huge gap historically. - Power I is missing the Weak set and only has one option play (Inside Veer). Each set should have at least a basic option package (Inside Veer, Midline, Load, Power Option). - There is no I-Bone formation (I-Form structure with an off-line wing), which was widely used by teams like Nebraska, Michigan, and Ohio State. The overall issue here isn’t just “missing plays”—it’s that under-center systems are not fully built out the way spread systems are. Option concepts exist in the game, but they aren’t distributed across formations where they logically belong. One more request that would really improve Dynasty long-term: data export. There’s currently no way to export: - player stats - team stats - standings - game results For anyone running multi-season or multi-team dynasties, this makes it difficult to track history or analyze performance outside the game. Even a simple CSV export for rosters, stats, and results would add a ton of value and allow players to build their own tracking tools. Overall, the foundation of the game is strong. These issues are less about adding new systems and more about: - allowing Dynasty to persist user-defined team identity - filling out under-center offensive structures - enabling long-term tracking through data export. Curious if other Offline Dynasty players (especially multi-team players) are running into the same issues. Thank you for reading.
