Football games have lost their passion

This year has opened my eyes to just how pathetic these games are year after year. Literally just copy and paste with a few new features and presentation and update the rosters. Why are we still experiencing identical problems that the maddens from 2019-present have had? Players cannot grab loose balls, the blocking logic is atrocious, uncontrollable animations (in every aspect of the game) but especially to catch passes, DB's gain speed when starting a swat/interception animation, DB's are better at high pointing passes than WR (Will admit this seems better in this game), CPU defense breaks on passes the moment you press the button if you watch the replays.... they dont even wait until your QB starts the throwing motion, 0 actual football intelligence programmed into players, glitchy af dynasty mode where practice doesn't even work, 20+ players transferring after winning a natty. Could complain for 25 pages worth of **bleep** that has needed fixing for years at this point, yet here we are with a smelted down and reforged product every single year that gets talked about like its the 2nd coming of christ because they added team specific pre game rituals into the game. yet the football gameplay is the worst aspect of the football game

  • Dude, the exact same thing is true for every sports game released yearly. Ideally, the games would have a major release, CFB Online in this case, and yearly US$25-30 DLC updates. Granted, doing that would require an easy way to revisit previous games with current bug fixes.
