The play clock

I have lost several one possession games because the fact that  I can not use my allotted time outs when it's like under 2 mins because if anyone chooses to kneel the ball the clock just runs out rapidly and and that's not fair because no way of stopping the clock to force my opponent to maybe do something else like forcing a punt or a turnover on downs and that's not happening in real life any where please adjust this so the time runs out normally and we can be to use our time outs if we choose to and just not be able to use them why give them to us it makes nonsense.
