Ranking logic HAS to be fixed
In my dynasty, I’m currently 11-0 with Texas Tech with a win over a 9-1 SMU team on the road, yet I’m ranked #4 below a SMU team that has beaten ONE ranked team (#22 Florida State with 3 losses) and a 9-1 Georgia team that lost to #1 10-0 Alabama. It feels like there’s a bias towards the Big 10, ACC, and SEC over the Big 12 because those are deeper conferences with schools that win consistently. I tried scheduling a big time game against a top ten opponent to boost my schedule just to sit ranked below them because we play in the Big 12 and they play in the ACC. A 11-0 team with one ranked win over a 9-1 team should 100% be ranked number two over a 9-1 team with one ranked win over a 3 loss team. Last season, a 11-2 USC team that won the Big Ten championship was ranked below a 10-2 Ohio State that missed the Big Ten championship in the playoffs. The season before last, despite being the only undefeated team in the country, I finished #5 behind THREE ACC teams (SMU and Pitt were two of those teams and neither team played in the ACC championship) with at least one loss. The ranking logic has to improve and take things like head to head, opponents beat, record, and conference championships into account.
