HB RTG Bugs/Suggestions

BUGS:

  1. Experiencing some glitchy movements including starting off in a full sprint when not hitting the sprint button. Not sure why but my player is an elusive bruiser HB and I have suspicions that it's ability related. I'll have to update the post if I can figure out more as to the cause.
  2. In high school, after multiple consecutive RPO play calls, the QB glitches out and stops throwing or handing the ball off. Solved by no longer running more RPO's, but this still shouldn't be happening.

SUGGESTIONS:

  1. The coaching play calls for HB position are horrendous. Super limited even after gaining a ton of coach trust and extremely unrealistic in certain down situations. I noticed that each team when choosing schools in high school gives you their playstyles and run vs. pass percentages. I really feel like the play calls offered need to better match those percentages. For example, I play as a HB for MI State, and they are just way way too many run calls being called in comparison to the run vs. pass percentage shown to match the playstyle. Worse yet, all I'm given is 95% run plays in 3rd or 4th and long situations and like one pass play to choose from. To fix this, I would definitely try to better tailor the plays offered to match the playstyles and percentages of each individual school playbook, and simply offer more of a variety of calls in general, even early on without a lot of coach trust. I feel each position choice offered to play as would benefit greatly from this and make it a more enjoyable and realistic experience.
  2. I feel the energy management needs some fine tuning. Especially as I've toyed with Wear & Tear to find a nice realistic balance, I just feel too much energy needs to go into health and studying too often while other options wind up neglected and vice versa. I'm not sure exactly how to balance this appropriately, but I will start by suggesting either adding more different scenarios that give energy and gameplay boosts (or changing to a higher frequency of which they occur), or just offering higher base energy points from the start, then tinker with the costs of activities from there.

Apart from that, overall RTG has been a pretty good experience. I have only played as HB and QB so far, but it's been fun with minimal bugs thankfully.
