1000% agree. My guy was legit and then Junior year they force me to play edge even tho I'm the highest mike by far. Playing edge is useless and ruined my stats. I baught this game specifically to play LB in RTG. I have no desire to play now and feel I wasted my money. This needs to be fixed ASAP! LET US PLAY THE MIKE POSITION!!! NOT EDGE!!! Also it's similer to 25 as id make an open field SOLO tackle and it shows up as an assist for absolutely no reason.....

i havent had this issues of just perma edge but i do get moved around alot . usally if i flip the play i go back to middle or olb if im edge

My sophomore year I was the Butkus award winner now anytime we are in a Nickle or Dime package they put me at the RRS - right rush end.   Take the college worlds best linebacker and put him in a 3 point with no pass rush abilities - great idea!!!  EA get your head out of your **bleep** and fix this!!

Wow so glad I’m not the only one but also I’m sorry to all of us! WTH EA? I wanted to play DE not gon lie, but because it wasn't available, I’ve built my character to play mlb and all of a sudden I’m an edge rusher 90% of the game? 

i forgot to come back to this but once you get control of the play book and you use any of the 3-3-5  formation it moves you back to Middle

Yall got to fix this immediately, no matter what defensive scheme I run this happens. I don’t want to be an edge rusher. 

Has this been fixed? This happened to me my sophomore year and I switch to playing a different position as it was just not fun on the edge. I went from being involved with just about every play to maybe getting a few assistant takles a game or I was just playing out of position and even then it was no right. Lb is my favorite position to play in college football so I'm pretty sad and cant wait for this to be fixed. Thanks

Definitely didn’t matter what scheme I was in still  put me to edge! It’s BS, I put the game down a month ago and haven’t turned it back on Because of that.  Hope they don’t do this crap with madden
