RTG High School is beyond pathetic
I already raised concerns about how outdated and broken the High School system is in Road to Glory. But now that I’ve started a CB build, it’s gone from frustrating to downright absurd.
I’m completely locking up my receiver — no catches, no yards, clamps. But the AI CB on the other side gets beat, gives up a touchdown… and my Game Tape score drops. How does that make sense?
This is a position-focused career mode, right? So why am I being punished for AI failures on the opposite side of the field? I can’t control what the CPU does — yet the system acts like I’m the one getting cooked.
And you know what’s funny? You take our money instantly at checkout, no delays, no bugs there. But when it comes to actually delivering a functioning product, we’re stuck writing into EA forums and waiting weeks for a fix — if the overpaid dev team ever gets around to it.
And let’s be honest: no one cares that fullback redshirts were patched. That’s not the win you think it is. The core gameplay loop is still broken — especially in RTG, where performance is tied to completely unreliable AI decisions in high school games.
Please escalate this. This isn’t just a balance issue — it’s a fundamental flaw in progression that makes the mode borderline unplayable for defensive players.
Thanks, or whatever
