There is no need for you to worry as many players world wide are facing this issue, I assure you that this will be resolved at the earliest however it will be difficult to comment on exact time frame.
Its a holiday weekend so I'm expecting a fix this week. Unless you just wanna play a few games, I'd suggest waiting till a fix is in place. Between not being able to progress and matchmaking being on ultra difficult past week might just be a time to take a week or so away from the game.
