Difficulty Playing the Game

I am quite annoyed that when I need to quickly get the ball out to my WR before DBs get to him I cannot do it because I will press whatever passing icon for whatever receiver and nothing happens. Then I have to quickly try to press it again or even a third time and by then it's too late and I get an incompletion or interception. Why is it that the QB doesn't throw when I press the button? I don't care if "he's not ready" or the WR's "not ready". He should pass when I want him to. This happened last year and it is getting absurd.

Also, WRs can't stop running into each other on their routes or DBs can't stop getting in their way (with no flag). Leading to incompletions and interceptions.

And, why can't the O-line block anyone? Even with blocking set to 100 they can't block. I don't experience these things in Maximum Football, why is it present in a game made by a 38 billion dollar company?
