Re: Game Crashing [Info Requested]
Hello all,
I'm on Xbox Series X. Played CFB 25 with no issue. I've tried all the ''fixes'' posted on this forum to no avail.
Pre-ordered CFB 26 and played the first season of my Dynasty with no issue whatsoever (Team builder)
The crashes started to occur in the first game of my 2nd season. Restarted the game 5 times but couldn't finish... The crashes always happen after a turnover, during quarter breaks or in between plays (never during live game action). Brings me straight to the Xbox main menu. No internet connectivity issue.
I read somewhere that certain people were able to stop crashing by skipping one game and moving on to the next... and that technique worked! ... for a little while...
After skipping game 1 I was able to go through my 2nd full season without a single crash... until I got to the College Football Playoff. At Penn State in the snow... playing at Heisman difficulty with a small school... Big moment for the program... And then the crashes started to happen again... same thing during quarter breaks, after turnovers or touchdowns in between plays.
It gets disheartening to restart every time... And I'm actually getting to the point where I'm thinking of skipping that game entirely and just move on to the next season and hope for the best... But how can that be the solution to this?
I've seen a lot of similar reports on this forum with very little response from EA... even certain forum complaints being listed as ''resolved'' when all the EA dev posted was a list of questions with no actual solution. Seeing the sheer volume of similar complaints that have gone through, it seems pretty clear that the issue is not on our end.
I'm hoping we will get an update or fix soon... Prior to these issues, this has easily been one of the best sports games I've played... But now I'm starting to doubt whether a fix will ever be put in place. I have not seen these problems being publicly recognized by EA and no timetable has been put forward.
I recognized how complicated fixing such an issue can be... I'm just hoping EA hears us.
