RTG Crashing when loading PS5

Got through High School and picked school at hat selection.  Took forever to load to next screen, it showed weekly ritual stuff, academics, coach trust, etc.  Clicked X and just had blank room background.  X to accept and O to go back were on screen but never did anything after 5 minutes.  Closed game and relaunched.  Now as soon as I click Continue RTG, game crashes and boots to home screen as it loads.  Uninstalled and retried, but no change.  RTG is INOP at this point.
