TeamBuilder Proximity to Home

Same as last year... Teambuilder school still carries over the location of the replaced school. Recruiting is a fairly crucial aspect of college football and "proximity to home" is related to replaced school. The game still doesn't actually recognize your created school.

Yes, you can set pipelines of the school now and the coach, but it's not changing the core problem of the game not acknowledging it's a different school. Not a big deal if you don't mind replacing a school from the same area, but not everyone wants to do that. I don't. This worked two generations ago.

  • Same. Mainly the reason I stopped playing cfb25. Thought it would be fixed in cfb26. I don't understand why they even ask for the city and state when creating a teambuilder team if they don't do anything with that information.

Yep same for me, I based my team out of NY and have to replace with buffalo, Syracuse or Rutgers. It’s sad

  • they have to save it to make it feature in 27 lol. It’s sad you have to replace a team in the area you want your squad to be in to align with your pipeline

  • I was 5 games in on replacing FIU with a NJ-based team before realizing. You’re right, it’s kind of annoying when I’m getting D- on Prox to Home on a recruit from NJ. I had to just start a new dynasty and switch out Rutgers after that.
