Are you game sharing? I'm wondering if there is an issue with EA games and being able to play a game properly on a non HOME console.
Decided to do a poll on my Discord and so far the people who have had no issues, not one of them game shares. It's only a small sample size so I thought I would see with people who are actually crashing.
I wish. Problem is just EA. Don’t share games and and have issues with the last 2 CFB’s, last fifa, madden etc. I’ve gotten a cooling fan, tried playing on 1080p, which are things no reasonable person should have to do in hopes the game they bought doesn’t crash their console. @ea_k*nt would probably delete this but he only works once every 2 weeks. We did get the James Madison mascot so we got that going for us

Tried shutting off recording for clips.
Turned off HDR
Delete and reinstall
Clear persistent storage
Delete alternative MAC address
Delete save file
Change DNS server
Delete profile and readd
Factory reset console
Delete every single game except CFB 26
Play on internal storage and external storage
Added an additional cooling fan even though heat was not an issue
Went to a friends store, tried on a brand new manufactured Series X and signed in
Deleted Dynasty's and started over
I have no idea what else I could possibly hope to do, but now I get to sit an watch EA ignore it all.
Question, are you on the digital version, and did it work on the new Xbox at the store?
