Is anyone else having trouble completing this challenge? I feel that I’ve gotten multiple hit stick tackles and it’s not registering.
I finally got it after several tries. I’d recommend to allow the QB to complete a pass and then hit stick the player. I was able to do that and get two stars. It took a while but I got lucky. It really is buggy though
Yep same issue here. I'm getting hit stick sacks and its not counting for me.
I’m also having this problem I have done multiple hit stick tackles and this game refuses to give me credit for it in this challenge
This challenge is like the power glove: It’s so bad.
What finally worked for me was audibling my entire defensive line to zone clouds so there is no chance of a defender sacking the QB (even with 1 guy rushing, he’d still get through sometimes) and I was just super lucky enough to get (after my first hit stick defender didn’t register) a second defender coming in that got the receiver after a throw short of the sticks that forced a fumble.
the fact that a hit stick “sack” doesn’t count is the problem. That’s where things need to get fixed up for this to work better
I am having the same issue. I have done the hitstick tackle, it popped up saying hitstick as I tackled, and does not register. At first I thought the first couple times it was because there was another tackler at the same time. But I have had 7 solo ones and it does not register. And I have done it while flicking up.
Thanks, this helped! I was trying to flick it instead of hold it up. I tried like 30 times, and then after reading this I got it my second attempt.
EA needs to fix the hit stick, extremely frustrating that I am unable to complete this with over 50 attempts. Tackling is set to aggressive.
This worked for me. Double mug on first down, then used prevent and pushed every one back.
Best way I've been able to complete is by flicking right stick down.
