College football 27 crashing

Hello, for the past three days, my app has been crashing in the afternoon. It happens when I’m either in a game or in challenges. It gives me this psp error code: CE-108255-1. It’s really frustrating. I’ve tried to uninstall and checked to see if the game has fully updated and it has. The weird thing, when I play squads at night, it works.

  • Sorry to hear that College Football 27 has been crashing for you.

Could you confirm whether this only happens with College Football 27, or are you seeing similar crashes with other games as well?

I know you have already tried reinstalling and checking for updates. You may also want to try the following steps:

    1. Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Game Presets, then change the preset to Performance Mode instead of Resolution Mode.

    2. Go to Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output, then try changing 4K Video Transfer Rate to -1 or -2, especially if you’re using a 120Hz refresh rate.

    3. Start your PS5 in Safe Mode and select Clear Cache and Rebuild Database. Try Clear System Software Cache first. If you’re having issues copying, installing, or launching games, you can also try Rebuild Database.

    4. While in Safe Mode, you can also choose Update System Software and update using the internet to make sure your PS5 system software is fully up to date.

Please let me know if any of these steps help. Thanks.

This only happens when playing CFB 27, and I’m on the Xbox series x. A new bug I’m experiencing also is my dynasty coach is now wearing a helmet and players gloves!

Any fixes for game crashes on Xbox? I’m top 100 with 7 losses due to app crashing. Would love a fix

Sorry to hear that once one issue was resolved, another one came up. Do you have the exact error message or a screenshot you can share with me?

For the connection issue, could you please try the general troubleshooting steps first and see if they help?

Whenever I try and do my stunts on defense it kicks me from the game. I’ve done everything above and it’s really starting to make me not want to play the game. I’ve done everything above and even when I don’t, I somehow lose connection to the Ea servers when I don’t stunt.

Hello, I did these steps and it seems like it helped my game not crash. However, now I’m losing connection to the EA servers while I’m in the middle of squad games. I’ve lost two games when I shouldn’t have. Also, why does it say that this game will not be recorded and then still count?

Any suggestions for Xbox? Have had the game for 9 days and have only finished 3 games in a dynasty. Can’t get past the second game. Typically crashes misplay. No error codes are displayed. Just kicks me back to Xbox dashboard.
