Game needs a serious update.

Here's a more structured version that keeps the frustration but makes the points harder for EA to dismiss.

Writing

I've been playing football games for decades, and the biggest issue in CFB 27 isn't that it's difficult. It's that the gameplay often feels unrealistic in the wrong ways.

The passing game is completely out of balance.

I shouldn't struggle to complete routine throws because the passing mechanics constantly underthrow or ignore where I'm trying to lead the receiver. Even with proper timing and anticipation, the ball frequently goes somewhere I didn't intend. It feels like I'm fighting the controls more than the defense.

Receiver interactions are another major problem. Elite receivers like Jeremiah Smith, arguably the best WR in college football, can be completely erased by average corners playing man coverage. Nobody in real college football consistently locks him down one-on-one, yet average defenses do it every game. Ratings don't seem to matter nearly enough.

The pass rush is also excessive. Defensive linemen generate pressure so quickly that many pass concepts don't have time to develop, making the already difficult passing game even more frustrating.

At the same time, the run game is the exact opposite. It's wildly overpowered. I rushed for over 600 yards with my starting running back at Purdue on the road against Ohio State. That's not realistic on any planet. Yet throwing for 200 yards feels like climbing Mount Everest.

Broken tackles are another issue. Too many tackles are animation-based instead of feeling driven by ratings, leverage, momentum, or player ability.

I want better AI. I don't want an easier game. But there's a difference between smart AI and gameplay that feels artificially difficult because the mechanics don't behave realistically.

Please rebalance the game.

Make passing mechanics responsive and allow quarterbacks to properly lead receivers.

Let elite receivers actually play like elite receivers.

Tone down the instant pass rush.

Reduce the effectiveness of the run game.

Make tackling and broken tackles feel more ratings-based and less animation-driven.

Difficulty should come from good football, not from fighting the controls. Right now, the passing game feels broken while the running game feels overpowered, and that creates a football experience that simply doesn't resemble what we see on Saturdays.

Let me clarify something positive I failed to mention in my original post.

The improvements to the AI and the overall difficulty against the CPU are outstanding. When I look at the game as a whole, this is honestly one of the best football games I've ever played.

Also the added defensive adjustment options, the macro features, honestly its all incredible

I love that the adaptive AI punishes repetitive playcalling. Last year you could spam the same zero blitz over and over and rack up unrealistic sack totals. This year the CPU adjusts, recognizes what you're doing, and makes you pay for it. That's exactly how it should be.

I also love that passing is more challenging. You have to make real reads and play quarterback instead of forcing throws all over the field. If you make bad decisions, you'll throw interceptions. That's a huge step in the right direction.

My criticism isn't with the direction of the game. It's with the balance. I genuinely believe the foundation you've built is excellent. It just needs a tuning pass to address some of the current gameplay issues so the strengths of the game can really shine.

Please keep building on what you've created. A well-balanced gameplay patch could turn an already great football game into something truly special.
