Player indicators for co-op?

I love playing these games with my sons, except for one large glaring issue that seems like it would be easy to fix...there is no way to tell who is what player. Will 2027 finally have the P1, P2, P3 over the players heads?  Or maybe at least make the circle around the players a different color based on who's controlling them?  This is a pretty basic ask...even the N64 could do this with no problem, I don't understand why games being released on PS5 cannot.
