Ruined game

To be honest you guys have ruined this game for the casual player.  I’m a father and a doctor, I don’t have a ton of time to grind on this game.  But I enjoy rtg and dynasty this game is nostalgic for me from being a kid but I will never buy it again or nfl.  Having to pay for progression in rtg and removing the sliders to progress faster.  Then in dynasty removing the faster progresssions makes it so you can’t customize and play offline however you want to is disgusting.  If you make the wrong decisions and ruin the build then you’re **bleep** and can’t just easily restart from scratch when you don’t have the time to just grind for days to weeks back to that point.  It’s honestly just unplayable for casuals at this point you guys really lost me as a customer ever again.

    Thanks for sharing this. I’m sorry to hear the current progression pace has made Dynasty and Road to Glory feel less accessible for you.

    We've also seen a lot of conversations and feedback around our coach progression and Dynasty difficulty.

    To give players more control over progression pace, we are adding new Coach XP speed settings in the upcoming Title Update:

    • Casual: Fastest coach progression (1.5x XP), equivalent to the Faster setting from College Football 26. Best for players who want to unlock abilities quickly and accelerate coach growth.
    • Simulation: Balanced coach progression (1.25x XP). Best for players looking for a realistic pace while still progressing faster than the default experience.
    • Career: Authentic long-term coach progression. (1.0x XP), equivalent to the College Football 27 default setting. Best for players who want the full Dynasty Blueprint experience, where every Coach Point and coaching decision carries more weight over the course of a Dynasty.

    Note: Coach XP Speed Settings are available in both Online and Offline Dynasty. In Online Dynasty, League commissioners control the Coach XP Speed setting for the entire league.

    Coach XP Accelerators are an optional feature available only in Online Dynasty. Commissioners can enable or disable the Coach Level purchases setting for their league, and they are not available in Offline Dynasty.

    After this update hits, let us know how the new settings feel.

    For RTG, Progression has been redesigned around earning weekly XP through gameplay and upgrading individual ratings and abilities throughout your career. As part of this redesign with progression being tied to gameplay performance, players are rewarded more XP by playing on higher difficulty settings.

    Totally agree.  Between the skill trees being locked behind a pay wall I thought I purchased but apparently didn’t and the NIL budgets, can’t just do basic recruiting, have to worry about players leaving more or being poached, I lost interest.  I played this to build a fantasy of my favorite team to be a powerhouse not to live a virtual world of how difficult it is to become a powerhouse.

    I agree with OP.  I hate the added NIL.  Should be a way to make an offline dynasty without it.  Also really upset you patched the perfect coach glitch.  Made it so much quicker to go through recruiting as a casual player and something that I found fun as a novelty.  Competitive leagues can turn off the pre order feature and that’s the only reason I pre ordered so I guess no more pre orders for me.  If you don’t revert some things back to where we can play with custom league settings like turning nil and making the perfect coach glitch a thing again, being able to use current graphics and uniforms is the only reason to buy and I don’t know if it’s worth it when I can go back to 2026 version that I already love.
