Unable to get refund on Pre-ordered CFB27 on EA App for PC

The game has not even released yet there is no option to request a refund on the EA App or website. I've attempted to contact EA support just to be told they cannot issue a refund for CFB 27 even though I've yet to launch the game or play as it has not even released yet. I even asked the EA support agent if my only option at this point was to do a credit card charge back and she said yes. It's ridiculous to not offer refunds for a product that has not even launched. I really don't want to issue a credit card chargeback but EA Support is telling me that's my only option.

    Thanks for checking this. Since we can't solve account-related issues here on the forums, I'd advise starting a chat with us again and perhaps explaining the problem in more detail. Feel free to provide the agent with a link to this thread on the forums for reference, as it might help clarify things.

    My order history unfortunately has no such options. This is all I see. Frustrating.

    Hey MuzikVillain​ 

    Sorry to hear you're having problems with a refund for the game. 

    Just to be sure, the preorder process works slightly differently from the "normal refund process". In your order history, you should be able to cancel your pre-order instead of requesting a refund ( as this option might not appear in this particular scenario). We have an article covering this here. Have a look and let me know if you need more help.
