When are they going to update the rosters?
I noticed there are a bunch of players not in the game yet. I know there is usually a roster update close to the start of the actual season. Any word on when that's coming?

Supposedly before the season starts. They said that they would release a roster update before week 0. And the first few games are going to be played this weekend. UNC @ TCU, NC State @ UVA, Hawaii @ Stanford, and several others. So, my guess would be this Thursday (possibly Friday) for the roster update. Hopefully it’s done well and doesn’t cause more bugs. Seems like the past few updates have created bugs that didn’t exist when the game was released.
They really need to move Madden’s release date to July and push College Football back to late August.
When you look at the workload, the NFL just doesn’t have nearly as many players or moving parts to figure out compared to College Football. Shifting Madden earlier would give the development team the extra breathing room they desperately need.
Meanwhile, College Football deals with massive rosters across 138 schools, thousands of incoming freshmen, and complex NIL verification. Giving the team that extra month until late August would help ensure they can release a complete, polished game right as the college season kicks off, instead of feeling rushed to meet an impossible deadline.
