Controller Support

I had no issues until after the most recent patch.  On the home screen, ever time I select an option with the controller, the menu resets--an animation of the EA Sports banner plays, and the menu resets.  I am unable to select a game mode because of this reset.  I can switch to mouse input and eventually highlight an option, but it does not provide a cursor.  Possibly related, in Road to Glory, I am unable to select "Retry Attempt" with a controller; I need to switch to mouse to do so (a cursor is available on this screen). I am using an XBox controller.  I have confirmed it is up-to-date and Steam recognizes it; the game responds as expected to the controller as long as no menus are involved.
