Game crashes when loading any match-up
I can load the game and maneuver around different modes without any issues. However, the second I try to start an actual game it crashes and gives me a "DirectX Error" message. Both the error and the DxDiag text have been attached.

From what I can see, this looks like a DirectX/graphics driver crash rather than a Steam, game, or EA AntiCheat issue. A few things I'd recommend trying:- Update your Intel Iris Xe graphics driver to the latest version available from Intel (or HP if Intel's installer doesn't support your laptop).
- Perform a clean graphics driver installation instead of installing over the existing driver.
- Verify the game files through Steam.
- Delete the Windows DirectX Shader Cache (Settings → System → Storage → Temporary Files).
- Temporarily disable overlays such as the Steam Overlay, Xbox Game Bar, Discord Overlay, MSI Afterburner/RTSS, or any other overlay software.
- Make sure Windows is set to Best Performance while gaming, especially if you're playing on battery power.
- If possible, monitor your GPU temperatures while playing, as repeated DEVICE_HUNG errors can sometimes occur when the graphics driver resets after becoming unstable.
